Kron – From Complexity to Clarity

Structured Behavioral Reinforcement in Digital Investing

Academic UX project developed in a 4-person team as part of a digital design program.
The project was later presented at Kron’s workplace upon invitation.

Problem Statement

Retail investors may experience hesitation when making high-risk investment decisions due to outcome uncertainty, limited progress visibility and cognitive overload in early decision stages.

Without structured reassurance and transparent guidance, motivation can fluctuate and decision confidence may weaken.

Vision

Design a structured investment experience that strengthens confidence through clarity, predictability and behavioral reinforcement.

The solution integrates:

  • Scenario simulation to visualize potential long-term outcomes

  • Progress tracking to increase perceived control

  • Guided progression to reduce cognitive friction

  • Transparent information hierarchy to support informed decisions

Strategic focus: clarity, predictability and long-term engagement behavior.

My Contribution (4-person team)

As part of a 4-person team, I contributed to:

  • User flow mapping

  • Friction point identification

  • Behavioral reinforcement concept development

  • Interface structure refinement

  • Visual hierarchy decisions

The project was later presented at Kron’s workplace to employees, providing direct exposure to industry feedback.

Behavioral Reinforcement Framework

The experience was structured around:

  • Progress visibility

  • Milestone reinforcement

  • Clear confirmation cues

  • Reduced information overload

  • Predictable onboarding progression

Design decisions prioritized structured behavioral support over visual novelty.

Execution

  • Simplified onboarding flow

  • Step-based progression model

  • Scenario simulation module

  • Reinforced feedback mechanisms

  • Consistent visual hierarchy

Key Insights

  • Clarity reduces hesitation in high-stakes decisions

  • Progress visibility increases perceived control

  • Behavioral reinforcement supports sustained engagement

  • Transparent simulation reduces outcome ambiguity

Recognition

The project was invited for presentation at Kron’s workplace, allowing the team to present insights and design rationale directly to employees.
